'Kin Speak is something of a cork board, a home of virtual sticky notes, the authors of which are otherkin (people who identify as and/or feel that they are nonhuman). We're an anonymous medium for otherkin people to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and ideas in an environment free from anxiety about what others may say or think about them.

You can submit to us by sharing your story, or popping a note in our inbox via ask. For questions, check out our FAQs.

Oh, I would love to see this “map” project when it is finished!

For me, dysphoria is a big part of it. And, the need to fly (in some otherkin, might be a need to run, swim, etc.) Costume, glamourbombing, any acts that help to convince the world that there is Something More, this helps.

For me, animal rights also are a part of nonhuman identity. Living inside the nonhuman perspective, how it is possible to say that my nonhuman kin who are incarnate, don’t have complicated lives and feelings? And, knowing that they DO, how I can avoid to support their rights? So, protesting, anti-sport hunting, anti-pet store selling of animals, etc. is important for me.

Magic is important for me, spirituality. I think it is a big part of a lot of otherkin experiences, not always therian experiences, but, for me, it is.

Seeing relationships differently. People are flock/pack/etc.
