(sorry if this got submitted twice… i’m not good with computers)
i identify as a demon, which i have for a very long time, but barely anyone knows about it because the majority of my friends are very anti-nonhuman. it really sucks having to bottle up part of my identity just so my friends feel more comfortable. i am a very outgoing, friendly being and i don’t like keeping secrets.
though one might argue they aren’t true friends if they don’t accept this part of myself. hopefully i can come out to a trusted few and they will accept me.
i came out to a friend of mine, who is human, and she said she thought it was really cute and she also said “i’m glad you’re a demon!” it really gave me some hope!!
but i’m afraid i might have to remain in the metaphorical “closet” for some time. i also have gender issues, and my family is having enough grief over that as they are, they don’t need to find out about my nonhuman identity for a while… especially since the majority of my family is some sort of christian! that would be awkward..
anyway, i wanted to rant a little to some beings who understand, and i also kind of want to make some friends! i made a side blog for nonhuman issues and personal things, which you can find at http://appetitious.tumblr.com !! come say hi!
I want information on demonkin as well as succubi demonkin but whenever I google this the same forum and thread keeps popping up and it’s not much help at all. Does anyone out there have any good information on both of these topics?

Hello, my name is DK. I run Words From a Demonkin here on Tumblr.
I am a Demonkin/Daimonkin and I started my Tumblr to address the lack of knowledge about my specific kind and to offer support to any other Otherkin here.
